In 2021, after 15 years in real estate, I made a quiet but intentional move — I bought a small parcel of land in a place few of my peers had ever considered: Secret Beach, Belize.
I’d heard about the opportunity from other real estate investors I trusted. It was still early, but the fundamentals were there: rapid growth, scarce buildable land, and a tourism-driven economy that was booming. I believed in it. I told my father I planned to go all-in. And like the encouraging and optimistic man he was, he told me:
