So here we are driving by Guapo’s last stop, where he’s always good for a cold beer. He’s one of the original roadside bars on the main road heading out to secret beach. The main road that leads to Secret Beach is becoming one of the most popular locations to buy land in the secret beach areas.
As you travel along the main road just a little bit past Guapo’s, up on the right is the neighborhood of Palmaya woods, where we have one of our projects. If you watch the video of the project on our YouTube channel you can see that some of the footage was taken a while ago when the rainy season was in effect. We actually had to bring in a lot of backfill in order to be able to start the construction.
But it worked out well as you’ll see towards the end. It’s certainly starting to look good as we approach the final stages of the project.
You can see the crews pouring the piers. The foundation goes all the way down to the bedrock. They dug down real deep and now they’re pouring concrete piers upon which the structure will be built.
There’s a lot of good activity happening in Palmaya Woods. I’ve heard a lot of, from a lot of people who’ve said they’re building there and they have property there. So it’s exciting to see how fast it’s growing. Even though it’s still wide open, there’s a lot happening.
Next, you can see that we’ve started to go up with some of the framing of the walls. So this project is two units on one lot, as you can see. This angle, if you’re watching the video, is from the main road driving into secret beach. And then on the right here, this is the neighborhood and the project at the front. There are the little man-made lakes and water features by the front entrance. And then as you drive in through the main street of the neighborhood, there’s the project and there are two units there.
Early in the morning. It was real quiet. We have two Casita’s going up here on the one lot and will be offered as a package deal. Which is great because it could provide extra income or extra guests. These off-grid investment properties can offer amazing returns no matter how you want to use them. They’re going to be fully off-grid, with solar panels, a rain catchment system, air conditioning, hot water, kitchenette, and more.
As you can see from these images here the electric is in the walls are framed out and the insulation is going in. The roof was on and they are starting to put up the drywall. And, with this last image here, you can see where we’re currently at. We’ve got the two casitas there and we’re pretty excited cause it’s a, it’s really starting to come out nice.
